Dominique Sutton

Dominique Sutton has been developing her craft for the past twenty years, mastering the technical skills required to produce large scale public sculptures. While Dominique produces interior artworks and sculptural concepts at an intimate scale, her work is ultimately destined for large scale public applications.

Dominique is a multi-skilled artist who can realise her artistic ideas in a variety of mediums. Her experience gained while working at Crawford’s Fine Art Foundry in Sydney has contributed to her versatility as an artist — she is the rare contemporary artist who can execute concepts from concept through to completion.

Dominique’s major public works include three figurative sculptures for AMP Tower as part of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, The Australian Railway Memorial in Werris Creek and two of five signature sculptures for Galaxy Resort & Casino in Macau. Her installation work with Sasha Reid entitled Melt was the major prize winner at artsCape Biennial 2010.
