Wattle is an intricate, eccentric construction of three mobile sculptures, measuring 13 metres wide x 2.5 metres high and made from resin and stainless steel. A host of yellows have been used, from delicate lemon to daffodil and burnt gold representing light, happiness and joy.

A stairwell provides us with the opportunity to look up. What a perfect site for a mobile! The Wattle mobiles are installed against a monumental wall of glass, flooded with natural light. Wattle as fabricated and installed by Crawford’s Casting.

‘Wattle is inspired by my memories of Kenthurst, it contains the joy of childhood discovery – the bottled sunshine of a happy childhood.’
