Composed as a ceramic brick tapestry, the work embeds local clays - including earth gathered from site - to ground it in Country. Centered on the Doolandella (Geebung) tree, it honours practices of cultivation, trade and reciprocity, conceived as a platform for an emerging First Nations artist, the project was realised with sustainable design studio Five Mile Radius contributing specialist material development. Elder consultation was undertaken by the artist. CREATIVE ROAD managed approvals, WHS, fabrication and installation in the retail precinct, and commissioned professional photo and video documentation to support the client’s marketing and Green Star reporting. The result weaves cultural, material, and community knowledge into a durable, everyday point of connection.
