Water Brings Life
PROJECT: Robina Town Centre
CLIENT: QIC Australia
LOCATION: Gold Coast, QLD
A hand-painted artwork façade-integrated artwork translating cultural knowledge into contemporary architecture, the design references local waterways and saltwater heritage through layered abstraction and rhythm. As the artist’s first public commission, the project marked a significant career milestone—expanding practice and opening pathways for future opportunities.
CREATIVE ROAD mentored the artist through each stage and coordinated design development, stakeholder consultation and approvals, and site integration with Architectus and ADCO, ensuring technical precision and cultural integrity. The outcome transforms a prominent façade into a cultural marker of movement and connection, embedding First Nations storytelling in the everyday experience of the precinct.
