A large-scale artwork transforms the Central concourse, unfolding across floor and soffit surfaces to align with key sightlines and echo commuter movement through track-inspired geometries. Realised in custom red-and-white terrazzo, the work required advanced technical detailing, soffit engineering, and close collaboration with fabricators to resolve junctions and finishes.

CREATIVE ROAD provided public art advisory, artist coordination, and design integration, working with Woods Bagot to embed the concept seamlessly within the architectural program. Operating within Transport for NSW’s public art framework, we ensured the artist’s vision could be delivered to the highest standard while meeting strict durability, safety, and accessibility requirements for a high-traffic site.
