CREATIVE ROAD partnered with artist Locust Jones to deliver 100 Days on Earth, a shortlisted concept for Western Sydney Airport’s new Metro station. The dual-site proposal combined a dynamic LED-lit sculptural façade with a large-scale interior mural rendered in gold, silver, and white ink on matte black concrete.

Drawing on Jones’s ongoing exploration of global headlines, f light patterns, and deep time, the work captured the poetic chaos of modern life and the vast forces that shape it. By placing these ideas within a transport hub, the project demonstrated how large-scale infrastructure can host experimental and poetic forms of expression— transforming a functional space into a site of reflection, imagination, and cultural presence for everyday travellers.
