Ngala Dhawura – Country of Many Trees by Bradley Mapiva-Brown pays tribute to the sacred woodlands of Ngunnawal Country. Combining contemporary fabrication with cultural symbolism, the sculptural work incorporates coolamon and canoe forms that speak to nurture, travel, and ancestral connection. CREATIVE ROAD supported the artist from early design through to installation, with tailored mentoring, technical support, and curatorial guidance. The result is a thoughtful, layered work that brings Country into the hospital’s healing spaces—honouring place, culture, and the continuing presence of Ngunnawal people.
