Referencing Ngunnawal mountains and gathering places, the work honours both cultural practice and contemporary healing journeys. Tensioned mesh spans the façade as a symbolic veil, while pebble forms crown the rooftop garden, grounding the work in landscape and movement. CREATIVE ROAD worked closely with Lynnice to support concept development and delivery—ensuring cultural integrity and site responsiveness were maintained throughout. The result is a powerful visual welcome, grounded in Ngunnawal Country, that reflects the diverse experiences of those who pass through Canberra Hospital each day.
