Suspended within the atrium of Nepean Hospital's new clinical tower, Shine creates a contemplative focal point at the heart of the building. Drawing on the Blue Mountains nearby, the atrium is read as a cave-like volume with shafts of light. The artwork echoes this through UV-stable PVC cables in graduated colours, forming a gentle colour field that shifts with daylight and movement.

CREATIVE ROAD worked on behalf of Health Infrastructure NSW, managing design development, stakeholder approvals, fabrication detailing, and installation. Delivered with BVN and project partners, the work met stringent safety, structural, and infection-control requirements for a high-performance clinical environment.
