CREATIVE ROAD worked in partnership with artist Jade Oakley to develop her artwork concept and oversee artwork design, fabrication and installation. Skipping Stones evokes memories of water, play and interaction. The twenty-two hand cast concrete stones, etched with native flora and scattered around a reflective creek, is part of Lachlan’s Square, a premium residential development in Northwest Sydney.

“Rather than creating an obvious wide and straight path between the stones, I have allowed for access in a meandering way, so that it is as though people become the water, flowing between the stones.”
