Commissioned for the ANU’s new medical science precinct, UNA by internationally renowned British artist Wolfgang Buttress, is a sculpture featuring 9,100 perforations which accurately map the stars visible to the naked eye. An inner sphere reflects rays of light, when peering through the perforation of a single ‘star’ the viewer is captivated by a field of cosmic vision.
